Water between the walls

A water line between the walls had started leaking for a while before the homeowner discovered it. They called SERVPRO to come out an take a look at it. We arrived and found the wall was completely wet. We carefully removed the wet area and discovered that there was contamination hiding behind the wall. The home owner was concerned about the use of chemicals being used in her home. We where able to give her the SDS sheets for the chemical that we would use in her home.  With the help of a SERVPRO chemical called Sporicidin we where able to clean the inside walls giving it fresh clean look. Sporcidin is an EPA registered disinfectant for hard surfaces, and a cleaner and deodorizer for porous surfaces. It is effective against a wide range of pathogens, it can be used for mold remediation work, bloodborne pathogen work and for sewage jobs. Sporicidin provides residual bacteriostatic activity for up to six-months. It is also an effective deodorizer and is less hazardous that other biocide type products. She was extremely happy with the job that we did for her.
