Airflow under the Home

SERVPRO of Midland Texas received a called from a customer here in Midland Texas about an odor in her home. We arrived at her home and began walking to her front door and then we could smell it. We knew exacly what it was, just not sure where it was. After we began our walk through we found it pretty quickly. The first picture shows how much contamination was located under the home. The second picture shows where we cleaned out from under the home. The first problem that we located was there was hardly to no air flow under the home. The air vents surrounding the home had been blocked off or sealed over. To help to prevent this always ensure your vents going under the home are free and clear and if not check with your contractor about placing some new there to get that air flow back under the home.
